Every family has it’s stories; every family has it’s origins…what’s yours?

This is where everyone can learn from shared information and histories.

WELCOME!

This page is dedicated to all of our families around the world, and to the preservation of our family’s history for all time, which has always been of great importance to us...

I have been working on my family tree for over 20 years; at last check, I had over 3,000 people in my family tree. I know to some genealogists, this is not a large number, but when it takes you at the very least one month and at the most one year to translate each document from German, Italian, Welch, etc., it becomes a very arduous task.

I have seen my family disappearing from this earth one person at a time; I can no longer sit idle and let the past disappear from existence, never to be remembered! The old axiom “publish or perish” has persisted in my mind for far too long, and I have suffered far too many data losses and recoveries to not get my family’s history printed in one medium or another.

My father’s family came from Torre di Ruggiero, Cantanzaro, Calabria, Italy. I have found evidence that some of my father’s ancestors had also married into the town of Settingiano, Cantanzaro, Calabria, Italy.

My fraternal grandfather’s family dates back to the 1700's, in Torre di Ruggiero, Cantanzaro, Calabria, Italy. My fraternal grandmother’s family origins come from Quebec, Canada. Her ancestry has been thoroughly documented in the Drouin Collection.

My mother’s family comes from Europe (primarily England), but I have also traced her ancestors to Saxony, Germany and Scotland. From my mother’s side of the family, we are Mayflower Descendants, and evidence suggests my mother’s family helped to found many towns and areas in New England. I also have documentation that connects my mother's Scottish ancestry to multiple Scottish Clans, dating back to the 1200's.

I cannot wait to be able to share this information with you all, but for now, I must sadly abstain from doing so...

For now, however, from my family to yours, thank you all for visiting and welcome home!

Sincerely,

Vincint Zangari
